Chapter 1254 meets each month on the second Saturday of the month at 10:00am. All meetings will be held at the Camdenton Airport (KOZS) unless otherwise noted.

Osage Beach Young Eagles Rally, August 10, 2019

The lake of the Ozarks Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will hold a Young Eagles Flight Rally on Saturday, August 10th at the Osage Beach/Grand Glaize Airport from 10 am-2 pm

Registration and flights will take place at the Osage Beach Airport from 10 am until 2 p.m. Parking will be available at the airport. There is a sign-up process and a parent or guardian must be present to sign a consent form. There will be an airplane in the registration area where pre-flight demonstrations will be given. After the pre-flight demonstration, the children will take a 15-20-minute plane ride with opportunities to ask the pilot questions before and after the flight.

Each child will receive a YOUNG EAGLES CERTIFICATE signed by their pilot and world-renowned air show pilot, Sean D. Tucker. Young Eagles also receive a free logbook with their flight entered. The logbook also has instructions to access a free on-line private pilot ground school course. A free first actual flight lesson is available to those over age 13 upon completing Part 1 of the on-line ground school.

Over 2 million youngsters nationwide have experienced the thrill of flight through the EAA Young Eagles Program in its 25-year history. Our local Chapter has flown over 2000 kids.

Eldon MO Young Eagles Rally, September 28, 2019

The lake of the Ozarks Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will hold a Young Eagles Flight Rally on Saturday, September 28th following the Turkey Festival Parade.

Licensed local area pilots will provide a FREE INTRODUCTORY FLIGHT for kids ages 8 to 17.
